150 Symes Road, Toronto

Located on a 5.5-acre site in the Keele and St. Clair area of Toronto 150 Symes Road currently contains two buildings but is site plan approved for an additional four buildings. One of the existing buildings on the site is the imposing 32,000 square foot, Heritage designated, Destructor Building. Originally built by the City of Toronto in 1933, this Art Deco structure was restored to its former grandeur in 2017. The Destructor building is currently leased to Junction Brewery and The Symes Event facility who will benefit from the abundant natural light and striking ceiling heights. The site currently accommodates parking for 52 cars.

The property also contains a 12,000-square foot, column free ‘Garage Building’ with 16-foot ceilings.  Built in 1933, using the same architectural style as the Destructor, the Garage Building has also been completely renovated in 2017. It is currently leased to Toben Food By Design.

150 Symes Road was awarded the William Greer Built Heritage award in 2019.
